The Legend Of Zelda is one of Nintendo’s most loved franchises. Skyward Sword is the newest and second Zelda game for the Nintendo Wii. Unlike The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, which was the first Zelda game released for the Wii, Skyward Sword makes use of the Wii MotionPlus and gives you the ability to fully control your sword with the Wiimote. Swing your Wiimote up to down, your sword sings up to down! Swing your Wiimote from right to left, your sword swings right to left! And what’s so great about this feature is that some enemies can only be attacked from certain angles, so you better learn how to use that sword properly before embarking on your journey to save Zelda! Skyward Sword is jam packed with content and has an amazing soundtrack, as do most Zelda games. All I can say is… get this game! You will not be disappointed!

Pokemon Black and White

Pokemon has been one of the most successful video game series of all time.  Second only to Mario in sales, Pokemon has been around for years.  Spawning a series of toys, cards, movies, TV shows, and of course, games.  Each game is always a little different than the one before it but always features the same concept: Gotta Catch ‘em All!  These two new games, Black and White, keep up the tradition of competition and collecting all sorts of different Pokemon.  It is one of the best games available now for the Nintendo DS.

Bulletstorm

This game is off the wall fun!  It is definitely one of the most creative and different first person shooters out today.  With over the top moves, crazy weapons, insane “skillshots”, and awesome graphics, it is on the top of my list of must have games this year!

Marvel vs Capcom 3

Everyone loves a good fighting game.  One of the best arcade fighting series of all time has been Marvel vs Capcom.  MvC 3 follows this tradition of great game play, innovative moves, awesome specials, and a diverse group of characters.  The online game play is a great way to put your skills to the test.  Three against three is still used and we are all greatful for that!  Picking the right combination of characters that fit your fighting style is essential for victory against the computer, your friends, or anyone online.  This game is fantastic and provides hours a day of great fighting!

Dead Space 2

Without a doubt, the Dead Space horror continues in this highly anticipated sequel.  Isaac Clarke, the protagonist from Dead Space, returns to battle more Necromorphs on The Sprawl, a city built on one of Saturn’s moons, Titan.  His mission? Find the Marker.  An ancient alien relic that causes people to go insane and become Necromorphs.  Isaac must destroy the Marker for good to restore his sanity and save those who are trying to help him.  The online multipayer  is out of this world.  Switching between fighting as a human and Necromorph, two teams of four battle each other to try and complete objectives.  As a huge fan of the first Dead Space, my expectations were high for the sequel and it is safe to say they were met and then some!

Killzone 3

Killzone 3 is without a doubt the best of the series.  It is the first to in the series to use 3-D technology and the Playstation Move.  It feels like your in the game!  The online game play is phenomenal and definitely gives Black Ops a run for its money.  The campaign mode follows the events of Killzone 2 and is incredibly intense.  My palms were sweating at the end of this one!

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Call of Duty has been one of the most successful first person shooter franchises of all time. Black Ops is arguably the best of the series. From an intriguing campaign mode, which features conspiracy, war, betrayal, and redemption, to amazing online multiplayer battles, this game is nothing short of greatness. The online play alone can occupy a gamer for hours a day with not a minute of boredom. Different online game modes give you a variety of options to choose from.
